Jilley and her 5 gorgeous kittens were found one morning on a porch in rural PA, cold and hungry. Kind people fed and cared for them until we could find a place for them to stay. These kittens were about two weeks when one our valued supporters called to say they had a 10 day old kitten in their driveway. No one knows how this happened and the kitten was alone, cold, and very hungry. Not able to eat on his own yet, they tried to hand feed the little one, but soon realized how hard it was to keep him warm and full. They called us to see if we could help. Thankfully, we had a nursing mother and it was decided we'd put the kitten in with Jilley to see what she'd do. This sweet mom accepted the kitten as her own immediately and raised him as if he was her own. Jillie was born around September 4, 2015, and all her kittens have now been adopted, and her role as a mother is complete. She is a sweet, gentle cat who just wants to be loved! She’s very affectionate and will roll on her back asking so sweetly for some affection! She is so deserving of a loving family to call her own and care for her as she did for all her babies.

A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
The ADOPTION FEE for kittens is $85.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for a particular kitten. The adoption fee for a young cat (1 to 3 years) is $75.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for a particular cat. The adoption fee for a cat 3 years and up is $50.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for that cat. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
